For the month of March, Wolverine Farm celebrates the broadside. As marvelous artifacts wherein books and art intersect, broadsides are single-sheet works of art with an illustrated poem or prose. Alongside the broadsides that Wolverine Farm has created with Front Range poets Natalie Giarratano, Jessica Rigney and Kathleen Willard, Literally Art presents a curated selection of broadsides from writers and printers across the country.
The exhibition coincides with the inaugural Wolverine Farm Broadside Prize, an open call for original poetry. The winner of the contest collaborates with Wolverine Farm Letterpress in the creation of a limited edition broadside, receiving half of the edition as their prize.
